Transition House Helps Families

Sometimes life hands us a few “bumps”. That’s what happened to the families living at Transition House in Santa Barbara. This well-run shelter helps people who may have lost their job, got behind on their rent payment or just need some further life-skills. Clients meet with trained volunteers and staff on a daily basis, giving clients what they need to get back on their feet. Jett Black, the children’s director, helped us set up our shoe distribution center so all the residents could get new shoes. While we can’t show you their faces, just know that everyone left the room with new shoes and big smiles!
