Nashville’s Homeless Get New Shoes

Controlled chaos distributing shoes

Soles4Souls recently participated in the Nashville Project Homeless Connect program. This all day program offered homeless people the chance to get flu shots, their hair cut, vision tested, feet checked, and the chance to get  Red Wing shoes from Soles4Souls. It was a busy day as over 1,000 men and women came to our mini-shoe store to get fitted with new shoes. Several people arrived with plastic bags wrapped around their socks because their shoes had holes. It was gratifying to know we could give everyone shoes to keep their feet safe and dry.
