Dashiel is continuing his walking journey from Miami to Canada…despite the stifling heat along the east coast. He’s had several reporters interview him and run articles about his adventure. Naturally they all take pictures of his bare feet, since he is walking most of the way barefoot. Dashiel reported that people are treating him well and he just finished enjoying a picnic with church members who invited him to their Fourth of July celebration.

July 5, 2010Soles4Souls Gives Shoes Away in Chinatown
July 5, 2010A few weeks ago, David Graben from Soles4Souls distributed hundreds of new shoes to the Chinese immigrants that are connected with the Pui Tak Center in Chicago. Allan and I happened to be riding our bikes in the area and just had to get a picture of their ornate building.
Of course we checked out some great Chinese food also.
