Pigs ate Spit Sculpture!
Yesterday, while enjoying a quiet afternoon at a state park in Georgia, I made a “Spit Sculpture” for a photo a reporter wanted. Basically these are biodegradable packing peanuts made from 100% cornstarch. The peanuts have a slight “corn” smell and absolutely no taste. After making the sculpture, I set it by a tree and went to get my camera. Within minutes, a herd of thousands (ok five) of black, feral pigs came and ate my work of art. I tossed a shoe at them to leave and they snorted as one grabbed the shoe and ran off into the bushes. Allan tried to get me to go in the bushes this morning and look for the shoe, but I declined.
