Most people think of shamrocks and leprechauns on March 17th. In our family, St. Patrick’s Day takes second place to Trina’s birthday. When she was younger, I worked for the Parks department and always planned a huge St. Patrick’s Day family carnival with booths, games and special entertainment. When Trina was younger, I’d have her invite friends so they could spend all afternoon at the carnival. She assumed the carnival was in honor of her birthday. (Sorry Trina, you had to find out sooner or later.)We won’t mention her age, but let’s say she’s closer to 40 than she is 30! Happy Birthday Trina!
