Well, we’re not really super hikers, but we do saunter on trails wherever we go. We read that “Crack in the Rock” was one of the most popular hikes in Lake Havesau region. Evidently it is easy to find. Evidently we are not good at finding easy trails because we hiked over an hour in the wrong direction before asking another couple how to get to the famous crack. The slot canyon proved some challenges, but we made it!
As we distribute shoes at various locations, we set up the “Step and Repeat”. Well, Allan sets it up because I can’t figure out how to assemble the pieces. The Step and Repeat has Soles4Souls, Soles4Souls, Soles4Souls, etc all over the background. It’s used as a background for photos we take. The carrying case broke, so Allan, with his usual ingenuity, used a luggage cart he bought from the Goodwill and converted it to a new carrying case. It did involve Allan sticking his head into the case to screw in bolts at the botto
