Vintage Line is a Hit

As we drive down the highways and byways of life…well, maybe as we drive down the freeways in America, thousands of people have seen the back of the RV, promoting Nine West’s new “Vintage” line of footwear and apparel. That makes it extra special when we go to a Nine West store and see women actually buying the Vintage shoes and purses. We spent the day visiting Nine West stores at Twelve Oaks and Laurel Park Place in Michigan. Store managers and associates are wonderful at creating a positive atmosphere in the stores as well as supporting Soles4Souls. Plus after looking at all the cute shoes and boots all day, I may just get a pair of boots that kept calling out to me as I stood in the store. My only hesitation is that because Sondra loves Nine West shoes, she’ll ask to borrow my boots and that will be the last I see of them.

Can't find a breakfast like this in a restaurant!

Most people enjoy summer camping with gentle breezes, warm sunshine and relaxing times on the beach. We, on the other hand, are camping in 25 degree weather, complete with frost on the RV roof, ice on the pond and a need for electric blankets. That’s what RV winter camping in Michigan is all about! We still love it and took an early morning bike ride around the seven lakes at our campsite. That’s one way to wake up! Afterwards Allan made us a great breakfast of homemade guacamole on sourdough rolls with Havarti cheese and cherry tomatoes. Now it’s off to a Running Fit store to help with their shoe drive.
