It’s not too late to spend Halloween weekend at a Jellystone Park-Camp Resort. Yes, that is a blatant plug for even non-campers to experience a family centered weekend. We enjoyed our stay at the Jellystone Campground in Sturbridge Massachusetts, although we didn’t get to stay very long. We could tell the Halloween spirit was in place by all the holiday decorations. If you’ve never spent Halloween at an RV campground, you are missing some great fun as well as bags of candy. Don’t worry if you don’t own a camper or even a tent. Many campgrounds, especially Jellystone Park Camps-Resorts have cabins available to rent. Sturbridge also offers planned recreation with tournaments, contests, games and races for all ages. Bingo, cartoons, movies plus mini-golf, video arcade, horseshoes, shuffleboard, sport court and two playgrounds. If that’s not enough, enjoy live bands, nationally known impersonators, clowns, magicians, hypnotists, record hops and more, performed live under the stars at the poolside patio lounge (or in the cozy Bear’s Den when inclement). We especially want to thank Jellystone Park-CampResort in Sturbridge for giving Soles4Souls, the shoe charity, a free night of camping!
